Dedicated storage distributor supports NetApp MSE reseller expansion
Basingstoke, 7th April 2009: Hammer, the specialist storage distributor, is now an approved UK distributor for NetApp’s Silver Partner programme. The NetApp Silver Partner programme brings storage efficiency benefits through virtualisation, deduplication and management to the mid-size enterprise (MSE) space, helping to reduce cost, complexity and administration.
Hammer will register resellers to become NetApp Silver Partners, specialising in the NetApp FAS2000 series which offers enterprise-level reliability at a cost-effective price-point for MSEs, and backed by Hammer’s value-added approach.
“Our Silver Partner programme relationship will create opportunities for our resellers and bring NetApp’s MSE focused solutions to the MSE marketplace,” says Jason Beeson, solutions director at Hammer.
Beeson continues: “Hammer is able to train Silver Partner resellers on and off-site using our NetApp accredited technical engineers and demonstration kits, and we can also accompany resellers to customer sites to install, and train them on the NetApp systems.”
Pete Rawden, director, general business & channels, NetApp, commented: “We are pleased to extend our relationship with Hammer as a distributor for our Silver Partner programme. NetApp’s MSE channel expansion is driven by user demand and our programme offers a great combination of simplicity, competitive pricing and enterprise-class features to MSE resellers. NetApp and Hammer are committed to supporting Silver Partner resellers through every element of the sales cycle.”
